I wish it was true. We heard overnight of a rumour from Britain that Britain plans to cut its troop numbers from 9000 to 3000, and the US from 160,000 to 60,000 within a year.

Unfortunately I think its a bit of a hoax from British government. They know that if they don’t commit to pulling troops out of Iraq very soon, people will demand that Blair resigns (analysts say that very soon he’ll become the scapegoat for the London bombings).
