Syrian Bloggers say: Today, we are all Lebanese

July 17th, 2006 · 13 Comments · Uncategorized

Today, we are all Lebanese.

Lebanon has been sentenced to death. On Wednesday 12 July, she was put in prison, and now she’s being tortured.

Israel’s war is with Lebanon’s civilians, not Hizbollah. Nearly every person killed has been a civilian. Power stations, bridges and petrol stations have been targeted. Israel has warned residents to get out of certain villages, but bombed roads make it difficult – and refugee convoys have been picked out for deadly air raids.

And getting out of the country is impossible now too. The airport has been destroyed, the sea ports are blockaded, and the border posts and highways have been razed to the ground.

Lebanon is held hostage to the angry Israeli war machine. And now more than ever, Syrians bloggers, just like every Syrian stand by her.

Another generation of Lebanese will know nothing but war. We can’t let this happen. Again.

Israel only want to make peace. The Hizzbola are terorist that took over lebanon.
If Hizzbola or HAMAS will not attack israel, israel will not kill the terorist. Stop the hate and the killing and try to understand israel that is always under attack of this terrorists groups. No terorist = No war = Peace in the middle east.

As an israeli i can say that all of are pepole like most of the lebanon pepole only want to live are lives in peace. We dont want war. The only pepoles who gain from this battle is the terrosits. This is there jobs – to be a terorist and they get money for killing.
All of the world and especially the arab world should fight the terorist so that all of us will live together in peace.
If you think that the terorist will win and ISRAEL will disappear you have a big mistake. Israel is here to stay and it will be better that syria and iran and all the other will live in peace with us. That way everybody wins. In war no one wins.

NORMAN – Where you suggest israeli will go? this is their land.

The Palestenians had many rights in israel, we used to live in peace and the border?/passages was alwayes open.Palestenians worked in israel and had a good life with a normal job in israel and with jaws friends until the terorists took over and bomed our buses and childrens and israel had no choice but to close the passages and chack every Palestenian that want to get in israel.

I am israeli and i had an arab friends from Palestenian and i miss that and i am sure they are also miss the good life we had togheter.

I can tell you that because of the HAMAS and other terorists they are very poor now.

I live here and i remember how it was like here before the terorists got stronger in Palestenian. And you? Where are you from ? do you know what is like to live here? do know the history of this place?

Israel should get out of the land occupied in 1967 and give the Palestenians compensation for a full peace treaty ,Israel only wants the Arabs to be their slaves working in their houses as second class ,Israel does not want peace ,it want domination and that will drive the Israelites to self destruction.Israel should use it,s supperior power to reach a lasting peace for their own self interest.

    Hello Israeli,

It is too easy to say the ‘terrorists’ are the problem. It is to easy to say ‘you started it’. People are dying. Israelis are dying, Lebanese are dying, Palestinians are dying.

Palestinians live in a state of occupation. It might have been nicer for you before the ‘terrorists’, but you can’t repress an entire nation forever.

The terrorists might kill a few Israelis and stop you going to your cafe and restaurant, but don’t forget, they don’t have F16s.

I’m sorry Israeli, but targeting civilian infrastructure is a war crime – and both the terrorists and the Israeli Army are guilty of that.

Destroying bridges, roads, apartment blocks and petrol stations and refugee convoys wont help Israel. It will just create more orphans. And, I’m sorry to say, they might just grow up to be suicide bombers.

Hezbollah is the sole responsible of the Lebanese safering. Nasralla don’t care how many civilians die, he gets his orders elsewhere…

the arabs are always shooting themself in the foot. this war now is the biggest mistake for hizzbollah

  • 12 Anonymous // Jul 19, 2006 at 7.50 am

Hezbollah started this war for the country of Lebanon not carrying for the consequences Lebanon has paid. Israel won’t hit Hezbollah because of the two soldiers captured. This war is not effective. Only the civilians of both countries are suffering. Hezbollah and the Israeli army are not being targeting each other. What is the end to justify the means?

    My Comments

Look, they (Israeli Soldiers) were dancing in CNN coverage that day, jubilantly as if they have all the power from God to kill Lebanese, descriminately. Look again, yesterday the same men flocked together in stretchers near a grave, when God probably said “please come to me so that I can punish you hard for the horror you put on fellow Lebanese”. Well, even Sharon dare not die yet, well, who knows what God may say to him.
