Israel plans talks with Syria

israel’s Foreign Minister says she is looking at talks with Syria. Tzipi Livni said she will launch a committee: “to raise all the issues and interests of Syria vis-a-vis Israel and make a diplomatic assessment.” It comes just days after Israel’s Defence Minister Amir Peretz said he wanted negotiations over the Golan Heights.
