Shame, shame, shame on you Arab World

January 14th, 2009 · 11 Comments · Uncategorized

The pathetic Arabs can’t even be bothered to attend an emergency Arab League summit to discuss the massacre in Gaza.

You useless, irresponsible, self-serving, collaborating, shameless lame-ducks. Have you given up even pretending to represent us?

Not that a conference would have done much good anyway – but it’s the LEAST you can do. No, you’re more worried about your useless battles over which Arab country is more important.

These are the countries which couldn’t be bothered:

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Tunisia and Bahrain.

You pigs.

The yes list includes: UAE, Qatar, Mauritania, Algeria, Syria, Morocco, Libya, Sudan, Lebanon, Yemen, Djibouti, Somalia, the Comoros, Oman and the Palestinian Authority.

Even Bolivia and Venezuela have kicked the Israeli ambassadors out of their countries. While Jordan and Egypt continue to host the representatives of the international criminals because they are too scared of their master in Washington.

The dictators of the Arab World have never been further from the people than right now.

They are a disgrace to the Arab world , I really dont expect any better from them , Mubarak,s son had the audasity to visit wounded Gazans in an Egyptian hospital , no one can take these people seriously ..I,d love to know what their aim is ? Have they been promised Billions by America to sell out the Palestinians ? They will all come to a bad end ..better sooner than later .

Can’t make it? Previous engagement? Iraq though I kind of understand… wouldn’t want to upset their rulers – oops I mean we liberated them, and obviously the democratic choice of the majority is to let Gaza burn.

Bravo to Venezeula and Bolvia for doing what Arab countries should have. Have you heard that Syrians have been going to the Venezeulan embassy to thank them?

I have tried to write the same post a number of times since hearing the news. I can’t. I am sickened by their complete disregard for the Palestinian situation!!! These are our brethren on three counts! Not only are they are fellow humans, they are also Arabs and Muslims! And, not to mention, they’re dying in our own bloody backyards….

All I can honestly say is that I am disgusted that this is the state of the Arab world. I never dreamt it would come to this. =(

Have you given up even pretending to represent us? Yes, they have, a while ago.

It’s not so much about showing who’s the best; it’s about doing what they’re told by their protectors. These are client regimes. The countries they prey on are not independent countries.

I’ve just heard that Israeli fruit producers are describing a crisis as a result of cancelled orders, particularly from Jordan and Scandinavia.

As usual, all Arabs can do is blame other Arab governments and squabble with each other over who is best and who is right etc..

Speaking on Kuwait’s behalf, there is an Arab Economic Summit in Kuwait Jan. 19-20 which has been planned for a while. It was suggested that the meeting of Arab leaders take place here.

It is quite odd that suddenly everyone wants to convene: Saudi Arabia suggesting Riyadh as a venue and Qatar pushing for an emergency summit meeting in Doha….where were you all three weeks ago when the Israeli aggression started?

In addition, I find it very odd that Qatar and Mauritania have open relations with the state of Israel; yesterday it was announced that they “froze” those relations: why “froze” and not cut ties completely like the Venezuelans and Bolivians you mention?

I think it is up to the people, not the governments, to push for change and to offer assistance. Kuwaiti people have already sent at least 5 shipments of food and aid to the people of Gaza and there have been several protests held at the Israeli aggression on the Gazans.

It is easy to be aggressive and call people names, like pigs, but it is much harder to actually do something positive and useful. I would suggest you not be so quick to judge others and remember your responsibility as a blogger is to promote a cause and not to breed hate and discrimination.

    Thank you
