As you say, at least they featured Syria, which is a start for the UK press. I came back from Syria last week (my first time) and continue to see surprise and doubt on the faces of those to whom I relay the stories of beautiful landscapes, wonderful people and an easy, comfortable and safe place to travel – and the food is pretty good too
