A Lebanese newspaper claims Israel’s Lebanese spies were planning missions in Syria.

16 people have been arrested in recent weeks, including a retired brigadier general (Adeeb Al-Alam).
Al-Akhbar newspaper says Lebanon’s Internal Security Force (the ISF) has agreed to transfer the details of the interrogations to Syria.
The spy network was allegedly set up before the 2006 war on Lebanon – with Israel using them to find Hizbollah targets.
