Avigdor Lieberman, the fascist foreign minister of Israel says he is willing to come to Damascus.

He insists that he will never return the Golan Heights. But he is happy to make a Sadat-like ‘grand gesture’ by travelling to Syria. He said he was willing:

“to get on a plane and travel to Damascus, but without any commitment to return to the ’67 borders”.

I’m not quite sure what the point of the trip would be then? A visit to Bekdash?
