Angelina Jolie has made another surprise visit to Syria – raising awareness about the Iraqi refugee problem.
This is her second visit, and this time she was accompanied by her partner Brad Pitt.
Jolie is a UN goodwill ambassador, and she was in Syria to visit a few of the million Iraqi refugees. She urged the world not to forget about them. Her visit – and the publicity that it will generate – is crucial in continuing the pressure on donor countries to fund Iraqi refugee projects.
Jolie’s visit, like last time, was largely off-camera, and was only announced after her departure.

The one who is going to bring publicity is our President Bashar Al Assad not two actors from Hollywood. he represent 22 million humans in Syria alone.

I don’t think their visit will add a lot, but any way, INGOs in Syria along with Syrian Government must be more active when it comes to Media. INGOs are doing good job but they still suffer from Bureaucracy and lack of accurate info.
I think it is difficult to get donors countries to consider Syria better while those challenges are still faced.
